At Bright Minds Int'l Academy we believe in establishing a culture of learning. We constantly collect, display and save various artefacts of individual and collective thinking work to help the classroom become "thought-full", in that way we encourage ongoing reflection and revisiting of ideas and topics; this process is not only intended for the children to take pride in their work and see how their ideas and learning processes grow, but it is a way for parents and teachers to do a more careful examination of the thinking process going on.
At BMIA more formal tools for documenting each child's development are also used. A portfolio is kept from the child's first day l until his/her last day of school.
You will receive three report cards during the year but you are more than welcome to discuss your child's development at any time you wish to do so.
